a little about me

Somewhere in Chicago…

I'm currently a Product Design Manager at Cars.com, where I work with and guide the careers of a small team of designers on everything from user testing and research to visual design. I was previously in journalism as a print graphics and layout designer as well as an art director at an agency.

Since the beginning of my career, I have used design to tell stories. Though my work has spanned print layouts and photography to web design, the common theme is using the principles of design to communicate and connect with an audience.

Alongside my passion for design, I love photography (though my analog darkroom is collecting dust), and I have a relaxed approach to exploring art in different mediums. I am also an active swimmer.
